Process engineering?I prefer results engineering

I remembered being told at some junctures of my life that processes matter more than the results. I ve always hold that piece of advice in high regards, only to realise this statement is as true as asking me to believe that there is such a thing called ideal gas in chemistry. In fact, there is none. Perhaps that statement is nothing more true than asking you to follow your dreams and dreams do take place for certain celebrated and fortunate individuals. For most, dreams are merely lovely bubbles iff( if and only if) reality din exist at all.

Have your interviewer ever asked you how long did you study for your exams? Or was he more concerned which honours class you are in?

Havent your teacher always give you a model set of answers and ask you to follow or work backwards for your corrections?

Plagued by the worst man-made disaster named the Social Pressure, one laments why dreams are often neutralised or shattered by the enormous juggernaut called reality. In fact, who in this life wouldnt want to live a life with ultimate control on any and everything? Just when you thought you have freedom in your work as a manager or as an director, you are no more than a more highly-paid pawn in the game of life.

In fact, its a tradeoff. The more money you get, perhaps the more you thought you are free in your life.. Yes, i would agree partially. However, the richer you get, the more dependent on that source of income you become and hence, in any case you lose that stream of income, the more entrapped and stuck one becomes. For e.g normally the boss jumps to death on bankruptcy cos he has a backlog of credit card debts from owning a Mercedes, semi-D and of course, 3 dogs and 4 maids. You seldom see an admin exec jumping to death.

Thus, i believe that my strategy will be to use 15 years to build a considerable fortune and thereafter, exit from the rat race. Ha..15 yrs...ironically long. I will be a lecturer, a photographer, a designer, a cook and a good father n husband. No more a good employee.

Lets dream as des says "dream as if you live forever, plan that way too... but live as if this day is your last, love that way too.. "
