Two zero zero NineAdd Image
In a blink of an eye, Year 2008 has whistled past and year 2009 seems impatient to make her presence felt. And yes...every year is a milestone.. and i bet all my friends around me is both looking forward and not looking forward to 2009.

For one, grad trip will be something to look forward to. I dunno who invented but maybe its just an excuse to go for a trip officially....haha. But giving it an official title makes the whole event seem so complete and meaningful. Its like the full-stop and exclaimation for the entire education "career" unless for some who are contemplating a post-grad. I foresee a lot of my peers going for post-grad since they are all smart ass-es who in my 4 years of studies, made me look so minute and so insignificant. I hate them for depriving me of my A....haha..and make me become a cushion all the times. Anyway, decided to shelve any plan for a work-n-travel in NZ cos its not a good time to splurge given the economic tension. CASH is king, so if i wanna be a king, i must save for stormy days. But, still hope to go somewhere for a good rejuvenation before the next phase of life.

2009 promises many things. It is the start,for the batch of final year students, of our career regardless of which field we ventured into. Thinking back, engineering studies made me realise that i am more suited for a non-technical position cos my patience is really limited and engineering really tests my patience. So, at many points in our life, there is a need to make a decision. And i feel, the most crucial part about making decisions is "never regret your decision". So, for my friends and peers, let's 共勉之！For myself, i ve made a lot of decisions on my own and i dun think back cos i fear and i dun dare to as well. For one, choosing combat engineer after my OCS tri-svc was the best decision i ve made in my life. Not cos i got the SOM, but cos of the friends i ve made....Really thank god for the good company..

2009 also signifies a lot for Singapore. Of cos, the preparation for YOG will go on, the casino will try her best to open and gobble money from fellow Singaporeans, F1 will continue to block the roads of the city centre and Changi Airport will soon be the latest entity to be corporatised. Plans will be made to liberalise the infocomm market in Singapore as we work towards In2015...Cars will be cheaper than LCD TV( haha on Lianhe Zaobao yesterday) and the circle line will continue to construct as if it has never intended to stop(cos it keeps going in circle....*lame joke*sorry).

Recession?Yes, it is imminent or maybe, it has already arrived without us noticing. But, i feel that life goes on and let us embrace the new year with fresh hopes and new expectations bah. For a good start to a new year, can pple pls reply to my thread in facebook so i can go and book the hotel suite for countdown...hahaha!Cheers!
