Flute at the Fort
The path to the Flute of the Fort was a treacherous and heart-wrecking one. Dear was so scared that I wun like the place. I could see her upset face when i mentioned "y not we change place"..Ha..i wasnt thinking about the ambience..It was just the cost i was worrying about..hee.. The name alone suggested that it cost a lot..so din wanted it to be such an extravagant night. In fact, i love this kind of ulu and scenic place.


1830: After a inital gasp, the rest of the time was spent on giggling cos we couldnt really understand the menu. Luckily there were bits and pieces of english to hint us. Shucks man... I tot its an aussie res't. Turns out they r in French? Puzzled me a lot.


1900: Proud to order the appetiser and the Mains.. after some struggle..ordered black angus tender sirloin ...i shouted medium rare and the waiter actually asked "Medium ? or medium rare?". I wasnt into steaks so din know the difference. Shouted "Medium " and trying to act class and composed yet I know it was barely a false front. Whats the bloody difference man..!haha
1900: Proud Dear had already decided on Cod Fish way before we came. The smile came as she waited promptly for her dish to arrive. And it seems both of us made some good choices. very glad about the choices... Forgot to take photo of the $28 prawn appetiser. Gosh...the prawns must ve been studded with LV or Gucci on their backside. So ex.. the taste was yeah..up to standard.
