CHOICES
At every juncture of our lives, it is inevitable that we have to make choices and eventually, live with the choices regardless of the outcome. An irony in life dictates that we have to make the most important choices in our lives at a very young age and live with the decisions later on.
When we hit a crossroad, faced with many choices, human instinct often leads us to choose the path of the least resistance, just like how charges always flow for the same reason. While the path of least resistance is often the obvious choice, it doesnt necessarily mean it is the best choice.
Some part in my life or another, I ve witnessed and observed people using all means to find shortcuts. I couldnt justify. Whenever there is any slight suggestion that a certain route is shorter or less bumpy, it is so common to find people pouncing on them even before thinking. My take is that when there are 2 routes, take the longer one. If not, take the bump-ier one. That's always what I believe in my life. The road less travelled is often the one that grants the most surprises. Of course, there are bound to be unknown obstacles yet the tougher route almost always force one to be tougher as well.
My friends, before you pounce on any easy way out in life, take a few seconds to ponder. The easier and shorter road also means more people will take the same route. So, end of the day, you will still suffer.
