Expectations

There's this saying in the real estate department.Property is all about 3 things:"Location, location and location". Agreed. Same rule goes for the service sector. "Service"

And in the retail and F&B industry, first impression matters a lot as there are probably as many cafes as the number of days in a single year. Most probably, some restaurants or cafes will not earn that amount of charm to entice me back. The bark cafe certainly made it to one of the list.

Besides 7-eleven, I suppose we normally contact the waiter or waitress before we touch the food. So, its imperative that the crew maintain high service standard such that it will be a pleasing experience for both the stomach and the mind. bark cafe somehow got a way to fail all my criterias.

Firstly, the ice water were not promptly served and when it did came, there were shortages. Secondly, fish and chips served w/o tartar sauce. Okie..maybe i sound demanding here..but when i told him more, he came with one small one..until i finally said "one for every single FnC here". Thirdly, pizza served with no cheese. I wouldnt really fault the taste of the food. But the service provided, considering that the crowd were minimal, were considerably off- standard. I should ve given them a piece of my mind but maybe its due to the scorching sun.

On the other hand, had a good experience with other restaurants. Liquid Kitchen and the famous CORO ke ai ji were good and comfortable.

Before we boost that we are a nation with high service quality, lets push on with GEMS.
