To me,
to grow up is
being financially independent. When you finally realise that your every cent spent is every cent earned, the feeling is always very nice. When mama s "come, take this 50 bucks" is meant as a supplement rather than a potential "雪中送炭". When you finally have that bit of spare cash to invest in, be it fashion or funds. When you finally know that it is damn tiring to be a father or mother and that you appreciate their money doesn't fall from the sky every month.
finding your niche. When you finally realise that "hey..time to worry about what to do in my life". When you realise that being able-to-survive in the society is not equivalent to scoring the maximum As in whatever exams. When you finally come to agree that your life from 1 to 25 has well been quite fictatious. Life from 25 onwards will be the real struggle and tt darwin was right in saying " only the fittest survive".
people start asking for your opinion. When people start to listen to you carefully, most probably your words or ideas are really important to them. In order to do that, i believe it is pivotal to always think before you say. Read wide to gain breadth in words, think hard to gain depth in words is what i think i try to do.....
