THE CONCEPT OF WEALTH
In certain report( which i forgot which and where i chanced upon), it was suggested or even proven that SINGAPOREANS are one of the most unhappy country in the world, or maybe just Asia.

Is it just Singapore?Or is it the mere fact that Singaporeans are overly centered on gaining physical wealth? COE prices drop to rock bottom prices. This fact invited endless stream of people viewing cars, changing cars and buying new ones. I wonder how effective will COE be in the future? It was used as a form of deterrence against high volume of cars in Singapore but I suppose the deterrence effect seemed to wear off as Singaporeans become more effluent.
On hindsight, the traffic conditions seemed to have worsen recently. The traffic on the expressway is no longer as smooth flowing as in the past. Hmm..i wonder will Singapore become like Bangkok? I guess the best policy is to establish a stronger public transport service system. With a faster bus and mrt system, i guess that will probably discourage people from buying cars against making use of the public transport system. My first recommendation is :

Can we have more express bus services, which travels on expressways?Be it 70km/h, or 60km/h ! Please!

As we progressed over the years, education seems to be the BEST AND ONLY route to success. For our generation, for this matter, a degree seemed to be a basic requirement and whoever does not show or provide a degree transcript seemed to be on a losing end. If this trend continues to reside,i will expect the minimum requirement for an executive level of job to be MASTERS in probably 10 to 15 years time.

REALITY check: I will definitely go for my MASTERS soon!haha

I am wondering if i were to buy a house in the future, it will most probably be a resale flat. How much new flats are we expecting? And for this matter, maybe only places like Punggol still have sufficient unexplored land for construction. Resale flats are much more expensive. I wonder if my dad is correct when he commented that life for us will be really much much tougher.

With all these thoughts residing in a mind of a 23y year old Singaporean like me, i wonder how happy life can be for people in their mid-20s, early 30-es. Money money money... !
